Harmonia concert was performed at the small concert hall of the Vietnam National Academy of Music on June 3 with a close and intimate space.

A friendship concert, cultural and musical exchange between Vietnam and Romania was held on the evening of June 3. The program was planned and prepared by conductor Pham Hoang Trung and pianist Hoa Ngoc Ha over the past 6 months. The program received the companion and support of the Central University of Art Education and the Romanian Embassy in Vietnam.

Ms. Cristina Romila, Ambassador of Romania to Vietnam, shared about the honor when the Romanian musician's work was performed and exchanged on stage with the works of Vietnamese musicians. She also expressed her joy that the program's artists studied abroad in Romania and are now becoming great cultural ambassadors.

Speaking before the concert, Mr. Le Vinh Hung - Assoc. Prof. PhD, Vice Rector of the Central University of Arts and Education, said that the program not only helps to serve the teaching activities of lecturers but also has can spread the beauty of choir and chamber ensemble art to the community.

Assoc. Dr. Le Vinh Hung, Vice Rector of the Central University of Art Pedagogy delivered a speech.

The choir of the Central University of Arts and Education performed the piece "Winter Ru con" (Dang Huu Phuc), singer Do Vu Lan Nhung as Solist and under the direction of conductor Pham Hoang Trung.

Musician Dang Huu Phuc shared:  "It is a great honor for me. More especially, the concert coincides with my birthday coincidentally, with a choir of 40 performers. My version of “Winter Lullaby”, for everyone and for… just me”.

Romanze for Viola op.85 (Max Bruch) by Viola artist Do Huong Tra My and pianist Hoa Ngoc Ha. The special thing is that all 3 female artists of the program Tra My, Lan Nhung and Hoa Ngoc Ha are all international students majoring in music at Bucharest National University of Music, Romania.

Do Huong Tra My is currently a member of the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO). And Do Vu Lan Nhung also successfully debuted in a separate live show called Les Chansons De Rose in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh.

Artist Luu Duc Anh and child pianist Pham Hoang Khanh with the work Ah! Je Veux Vivre for 4-hand piano. Pianist Luu Duc Anh is a young talented face of classical music. He has won many international piano awards; He is one of the 10 typical young faces of Hanoi Capital in 2017 and one of the 10 promising faces of the whole country in 2017. He is currently a piano teacher at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and a co-founder. by Inspirito School of Music.

Pianist Luu Duc Anh - Child Piano Pham Hoang Khanh.

Although performing with a famous artist, pianist Pham Hoang Khanh still shows a confident demeanor. Although she has only been learning the piano for less than a year, she also excelled when she just won the second prize in the 2023 Piano Festival competition organized by the Hue Academy of Music.

Pianist Luu Duc Anh - Pianist Hoa Ngoc Ha.

Artists Luu Duc Anh and Hoa Ngoc Ha together presented two works for 4-hand piano: Fires on the hill by Romanian musician Şerban Nichifor and Xuan Xuan by musician Dang Huu Phuc. Pianist Hoa Ngoc Ha has performed in a number of concerts with professor-musician Şerban Nichifor and also her professor of chamber ensemble during her time studying abroad in Romania. She has released the classical Piano album Carillon and many other singles on digital music channels. Returning to Vietnam, she performed many chamber concerts. Her most recent concert titled Metamorphosis was held at V-art Space. Currently, she is a piano teacher at the Central University of Art Education.

Choral work "Ly Ngua O".

The program ended with a choral work sung in Romanian and a Vietnamese folk song. Lacul (Şerban Nichifor) was first staged and performed in Vietnam. It is known that commander Pham Hoang Trung had to learn very carefully about the pronunciation of this work.

"I hope that when the work is played, Romanian friends will truly understand and be moved when their language is sung in another country," said commander Pham Hoang Trung.

In addition, ending the program with a composition with a fast, cheerful and majestic rhythm like Ly Ngua O (Vietnamese folk song) was also Hoang Trung's intention. He is also the person in charge of the music director of the Harmonia concert. He is currently the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Music Pedagogy - Central University of Arts Pedagogy.
